These terms cover the use of this website and the way commissions with Strobe are agreed. Draft for review before publication.

Commissions

Every piece, across all four lines, is made to order. A commission begins with a conversation and is confirmed in writing, including the form, materials, timing and price agreed for that piece.

Pricing and payment

Prices are set per commission and confirmed before work begins. Payment terms, including any deposit, are stated in the written confirmation.

Timing

Timeframes are estimates given at confirmation. We will tell you as early as possible if a piece will take longer than expected.

Changes and cancellation

Changes to a confirmed commission may affect its price or timing. Cancellation terms, including whether a deposit is refundable once work has begun, are stated in the written confirmation.

Care

Silver marks and softens with wear, antique and printed fabrics fade with washing, and wood moves with the seasons. Guidance on care is provided with each piece. Repairs and refinishing can be discussed by enquiry.
